Meet  the Team

Linen & Lace was first started back in 2013 by the two of us, Sam and Sarah. We first met at the age of 12, little did we know then that we would be lifelong friends and start a business together!

 

When organising our own weddings which were 18 months apart, we struggled to find suppliers that stood out and offered the kind of service we were looking for. So we organised and styled our own weddings and from there it all began.

Linen & Lace has been running for over 10 years and I just love how the business has grown. It has been run solo by myself since the beginning of 2019, but Sarah is still a regular face at many events. Our beautiful studio is based in Ringwood and we have been lucky enough to work with many wonderful couples over the years and amazing suppliers that are now very good friends. Although based in Hampshire, we travel across the South Coast and occasionally embark on a road trip further afield.

The thing that makes Linen & Lace unlike anywhere else is our products and attention to detail. Numerous items are hand made to ensure we have pieces that are one of a kind. Scouring antique fayre’s to build collections of gorgeous products. Hours are devoted to restoring pieces to their former glory or putting a twist on their original form. Every decision made with regards to the items stocked is a carefully considered one. Being able to offer our clients the ability to choose something unique is hugely important to us.

 

I consider myself extremely lucky to work in an industry that I love, being able to flex my creativity in ways I was never able to in my previous career. Visiting unbelievable venues and being surrounded by incredibly talented individuals makes me feel honoured to do a job I love.
