Cain Manor – An Enchanting Luxurious Country House

Cain Manor, Dorset

Last month we visited for the first time the truly enchanting Cain Manor for the loveliest couple Natasha & Gavin. Pulling off the road you are treated to a long and winding driveway through thick lush English forest to reach the private and secluded Elizabethan barn style country house. Cain Manor is part of the Bijou wedding venue’s and is rich with period features, oak floors and beams with a modern yet extraordinarily luxurious feel. Set on the Hampshire/Surrey border set within it’s own private woodland, the perfectly manicured gardens boast views over the rolling Surrey hills. The venue is offered only as exclusive use and is licensed for ceremonies both inside and out.

We provided some beautiful rustic styling to enhance this stunning venue, candle light within the two fireplaces as a romantic focal point for guests whilst enjoying their welcome drinks, the beautiful entrance and foot of the stairway had the same treatment, candles lanterns and wood chunks to create varying heights and a stunning welcome for the guests. The wonderful Clair Lythgoe Wedding and Events Florist joined us in providing her magic throughout.

A beautiful ceremony set up with simple styling, a few rustic hessian sashes, fairy lights, lanterns and some gorgeous blooms made for the perfect setting.

Our gorgeous stacked vintage leather suitcases sat perfectly within the setting, with the addition of some personal touches using Gavin’s family tartan in the form of ribbon, used on jars and draped over the cases. Another beautiful personal touch was a display of family photograph’s using our ornate Gold frame. Fairy lights and foliage adorned the oak beam pillars to finish the wonderfully romantic setting.

Centrepieces were a lovely simple but very effective rustic design and the table plan with stationery from Creationery was set up on our hand painted and restored ladders and styled with tealights and some flowers in jars the brides Mother had provided. Natasha & Gavin are the loveliest couple and we wish them all the best for their new adventures, newly married and newly emigrated to start a new life!
