On the fly tips from my learnings and observations this month.

I wanted to share with you some things that have been coming up recently. Something for you guys to consider whilst planning your big days!

The first is around your cake, if you are using a venue where there is no clear down until the next day, for example, a marquee or barn type/DIY venue wedding please have someone responsible put the cake away at the end of the night. You don't want to find your cake covered in flies or ants the next morning, yes, this happened! When you have purchased the most expensive cake of your life, make sure you protect it so you can enjoy it. Cake for breakfast, is a great hangover cure, I'm sure!

Please, please book some moments throughout the day, that you spend with just your new husband or wife. The day, as everyone says, really will whizz by, and it is after all a celebration of you as a couple, so take some time to soak it all in, together!

Consider keeping your wedding party smaller, the more people you have involved the more stressful it is organising everyone and co-ordinating all your appointments. Not to mention the costs involved in huge wedding parties!

Get as much as you can organised way ahead of time, enjoy the lead up without stressing over any last-minute details which could have been sorted out way earlier. As I always go on about, you can never be too organised!

I have some amazing weddings to blog soon, so keep your eyes peeled here.
